ITOFROM Obtains Korean Patent for Machine Learning-Based Mold Lifespan Prediction Technology

ITOFROM, a company specializing in smart mold manufacturing solutions, announced on the 1st that it has obtained a Korean patent for its machine learning-based mold lifespan prediction technology using mold data.
The patented technology analyzes mold usage data and production history through machine learning to predict mold lifespan and optimal maintenance timing. According to the company, the technology can help reduce production interruptions caused by unexpected mold issues while enabling more efficient maintenance. The company also stated that it has completed a Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) international patent application and that patent applications in Japan and China have entered the National Phase and are currently under examination.
ITOFROM’s solution wirelessly collects and transmits data such as mold usage counts, location information, maintenance cycles, and production history in injection molding and die-casting manufacturing environments. Utilizing LTE (Long-Term Evolution)-based communication technology, the system can be deployed without the need for additional network infrastructure.
The company has also secured major global certifications, including TELEC certification in Japan, SRRC certification in China, FCC certification in the United States, and CE certification in Europe.
An ITOFROM representative stated, “Based on our Korean patent registration, global certifications, and ongoing efforts to secure overseas patent rights, we will accelerate our expansion into the global manufacturing market.”
