Technological innovation continues in the mold industry. With the launch of ITOFROM’s new ShotLine mold sensor and management solution, productivity is expected to improve through automation and optimization of the mold process.

The ShotLine smart mold sensor(Digitalmoldcounter, Moldshotcounter), a new product introduced this time, has significantly improved performance such as mold temperature management by applying the latest technology, increasing durability so that it can operate stably for a long time not only in die casting but also in a high temperature and high humidity mold manufacturing environment of 200℃. The basic specifications are such that the size and weight can be greatly reduced, allowing for easier installation in the mold.

These technological innovations are expected to accelerate the construction of smart factories in the mold industry, and the industry’s response is that productivity and quality control are expected to be greatly improved through automation and optimization of the mold process.

Lee Dong-Lyul, CEO of ITOFROM, said, “Mold manufacturing sites are located all over the world, and global companies operate manufacturing plants in each region.

Accordingly, the reality is that various problems that arise when operating and managing each site are being resolved without a clear solution to date. “ShotLine provides an efficient management system by collecting data from manufacturing sites around the world in real-time and using big data and AI technology to create a dashboard for production volume, quality, asset management, and the maintenance forecast period,” he said. Evolution and smart factory construction will brighten the future of the manufacturing industry. In the future, ITOFROM will continue to strive and develop to ensure continuous innovation and development in the mold manufacturing industry,” he said.

ShotLine, which is being used by domestic and international global companies such as Dyson and L'Oréal through distribution and Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics. And ShotLine is currently being discussed to be introduced to Kyungdong Navien, SIDIZ, and other various enterprises which is attracting attention.
